Attention Seniors: If you ordered a Class of 2017 Panoramic Photo please stop by the Student Services Office to pick up your photo before or after school this week.
2017 Dance Show!
The 2017 Dance Show, DANCE MY WAY, will take place this Friday and Saturday (January 20th and 21st) at 7:00pm. Tickets are only $4.00 and can be purchased at the door right before the show. Many incredibly talented Hoffman students have been working very hard to put on an entertaining show, so come on out and show them your support!
Summer Internship / Career Exploration
Would you like to work this summer in the Schaumburg Park District, Township, Village, Library or YMCA? They are hosting a fair to show you the openings for this summer and give you ideas of possible career paths in these businesses. You must be 16 by this summer to work in the positions. Read more…
Media Center LCAP
Attention seniors- interested in completing your LCAP in the library? Remember, to be eligible you must have a conflict that prevents you from completing your LCAP hours outside of school. See Ms. Tichacek this week in the Media Center for a handout and more information.
PSAT/NMSQT SCORES NOW AVAILABLE
For those of you that took the PSAT/NMQST in October, the scores are now available. See your counselor to pick up your scores as well as your test booklet in Student Services.
Have you read a book recently and want your friends or a teacher to read it, too? Well, here’s your chance! All students are invited to participate in HEHS’s Reading Exchange. Sign up begins this week in the Media Center or online. Have questions? See Mrs. Berkowitz or Ms. T in the Media Center.
All boys interested in trying out for volleyball this spring and not in a spring sport should attend the information meeting on Wednesday, January 18th at 3:00 in room 152. There will be an open gym following the meeting from 5:00 – 7:00 in the back gym. Please get registered for try outs through rSchool.
Attention Juniors & Seniors
Senior parking lottery is now open for Seniors, and for the first time ever, we are opening up a limited amount of parking spots for Juniors as well. If you are interested in a chance to receive a student parking permit, please see Mrs. Abate in the Intervention Office as soon as possible. All applications must be turned in by end of day (3pm) Wednesday, January 18, 2017 to be considered for the lottery.
If you are in an activity and need a 2nd semester parking pass, please return your 1st semester parking pass to Ms. Minogue in the main office.
Boys Track & Field
All boys interested in participating in track and field should attend a short informational meeting after school on Wednesday, January 18th. We will meet in the science office hallway at 3 pm. Important information will be discussed. If you have questions or cannot attend, contact Coach Jones via email (email@example.com) or see him in the math office.
Senior Apparel Order Pick-up

H.E.L.P. Sponsored Coat Drive
Hoffman Estates Loyal Partners (H.E.L.P.) is collecting new or gently used adult and children sized coats, scarves and gloves at Hoffman Estates High School. Your donation benefits friends and families of the Hoffman Estates community. Boxes will be located in the HEHS Main Lobby. There will also be a box located outside of the main gym during Friday night home basketball games. The Coat Drive will run through January 31, 2017. We hope you will consider donating.
